Waterproofing of Expansion joints

Building faces, concrete slabs, and pipelines expand and contract due to warming and cooling from seasonal variation, or due to other heat sources., they would also crack under the stress induced. An expansion joint or movement joint is basically a gap designed to safely absorb the heat-induced due to expansion and contraction of construction materials, to absorb vibration, to hold parts together, or to allow movement due to ground settlement or earthquakes. They are commonly found between sections of buildings, bridges, sidewalks, railway tracks, piping systems, ships, and other structures.

Since these gaps are through & through in the structures, right from the basement to the terrace, vertically as well as horizontally, they need to be waterproofed. This is necessary to stop the rain water entering the structure. There are various methods of treatment of these joints. Its our speciality to treat these types of joints by different material or mostly these types of joints are treated with "Polysuphide Sealant"
