Efflorescence resistant Damp proof coatings are specified to prevent saltpetre actionm on walls.These are elastomeric high performance coatings, specially designed to prevent & arrest dampness from the walls.Since this has excellent adhesion to damp surface, the coating eliminates the paint peeling problems arising due to damp walls. Further since it does not allow dampness to creep to the surface, it prevents the problem of efflorescence & growth of fungus & algae on the surface.Further it prevents the subsequent paint from flaking.
Aqua Epoxy Coatings
Aquapoxy is a new generation epoxy floor coating system developed by advanced resin technology to achieve a remarkably durable & economic finish .It is an eco friendy coating since it is nontoxic & doesnot pollute the environment or create health hazard. Aquapoxy features Waterborne Epoxy Technology, which allows the coating to breathe, eliminating blisters which lead to cracking and peeling. Aquapoxy is ideal for basement and garage concrete floors,tile floors,water tanks, terraces, balconies, chajjas, flowerbed etc.This was developed as an industrial/commercial epoxy floor coating. Aquapoxy products provide high adhesion with excellent build, hardness and a high level of chemical resistance. This can be applied as a color coat or used with aggregates.
This is a specially formulated multi-application system, achieved by combination of various grades of epoxy for different areas of application, reinforced with fiber glass fabric & fine aggregates. The coatings & linings are sequentially applied to form a homogeneous & monolithic layer which has excellent waterproofing properties. This should be covered with a layer of P.C.C. to maintain the slope & final finish with IPS or broken tile pieces, (more popularly known as china chips finish) as desired by the client. We at NTP recommend this system for terrace gardening. Usually for terrace gardening, soil is laid over the brick bat coba for laying the grass or plants & thereby contributing to the additional load. However using this system the brick bat coba can be avoided reducing the effective load on the slab but the root inhibition membrane below the soil is mandatory. This system being nontoxic & highly effective is recommended for swimming pools, waterbodies, and water tanks. However the use of this system can also be extended to waterproof the roofs & terraces as well. This system is to be laid on the bare slab, after necessary surface preparation required for the best adhesion & performance & final finish as mentioned above.
Polyurethane coatings are particularly recommended for application to surfaces subject to high levels of wear-and-tear, where excellent chemical/physical resistance is required.
Waterproof cum thermal insulation Coatings
These are the waterproof coatings which also help in thermal insulation or control they transfer the external heat to the internal area of the structure. In this segment NTP offers a customised coating which works on the principle of reflecting & dissipating radiant heat, stopping it from entering. This helps in maintaining the temperture of the structure. The coating helps in keeping the moisture out of the structure. Further this coating has hardly any weight & therefore can be applied on any surface including light weight roofs.This coating therefore extends the life of the building, while lowering its energy expenses & also makes it waterproof.
Silicone water repellant painting
Silicones have low surface tension & therefore they can spread & get into the pores of the surface easily.The water repellant methyle group is directed towards the surface by the siloxanes, creating a breathable cover which allows the internal vapours trapped in the substrate but does not allow external water to enter.The advantages are as follows: The ability to thoroughly cover a surface or penetrate a porous substrate

Acrylic based waterproof coating
We at NTP noticed that hairline cracks normally develop on a newly plastered surface, these are called crazy cracks. The filling of these crazy cracks done looks shabby spoiling the looks of the building & the desired results are also not achieved. Formation cracks is a common process due to change in the climate, temperatures & various other technical reasons. To deal with this issue, with years of experience & technical knowhow in this field, NTP has developed a new technic to waterproof the crazy cracks developed on the newly plastered surface.
This is an acrylic modified polymer coating reinforced with Polypropylene nonwoven fabric & is formulated in situ. The coating is elastomeric has excellent adhesion to the surface, waterproofing & crack bridging properties. This can be covered with any desired paint & shade.
